I was just on the GPC page and noticed that Ross Bowman had two pumpkins this year that went over 2,000! A 2142 and a 2047 (he also weighed a 1670). This is quite a feat for that part of the country. The sun is so bright in Utah I wouldn't be surprised if it could melt the skin off the pumpkin I don't think any grower has had a season like that, in that part of the country. Definitely worthy of some recognition.
