I can't believe no one has congratulated Linda Grigg 37 on her new world record watermelon weighing in at 1,174 pounds that weight will stand for a long time!!!!!

Dave, Don Young stated this morning that he thinks this was a giant pumpkin entry weight and will be corrected in the next few days.

Now what does Don Young know, why would a giant pumpkin be in the watermelon results????
I would say Wizzy if you grew a watermelon that big you & your whole family would get a coat!!!!!
I just want to know Wizzy when the good DR get's his coat will you be the one to hoist it up on his shoulders???

I think the fact that they grew a watermelon from a pumpkin seed, may be more impressive than it weighing 1100 pounds.

Yes big moon that must have been the truck taking it to the weigh-off. You can even hear the indigenous language of Ann Arbor talking about the amazing size of the watermelon!!!!
That is right Holloway to get a giant watermelon from a pumpkin seed is even more incredible, only in Michigan!!!!

Yes it is Dr C but I guess if anyone was going to confuse a pumpkin with a watermelon it would be that state up north ;-)
Yes Joe they do not look like they missed a beat after only returning 6 starters on both sides of the ball. Urban is a miracle worker & one heck of a recruiter but it is early & there is a long way to go we will see if they can keep up with a grueling Big Ten schedule!!!!

Dave do you think they might have put the green watermelon with the green squash? That would be confusing.

Hey Don if I had a pumpkin seed that would grow a melon that big I wouldn't tell what it was either.
