Heck of a day! Several personal bests were achieved, and a big shout out to Joe Adkins who won the whole thing with the second largest fruit ever grown in Illinois!

I was in Highland well south of you fellas and saw lots of corn, lots of it. Congrats to you Illinois boys, I was born in Kampsville Illinois, and am always rooting for a record up there. Congrats Joe and all the other growers!

Your 2145 brought tears to my eyes Gene....incredible plant....to see Joe Adkins go I believe 17% heavy at 1861.5 and mine I think about 15% heavy for 1824 lbs.....crazy crazy crazy.....thank you again for your generosity....so proud to do your seed justice. And I only measured twice this year. 21.5" circ day 10 and 1081 lb ott estimate on day 46....it is what is....lol....makes it easier to sleep at night instead of laying in bed crunching numbers

had to pinch myself this morning when I woke up. still in shock after yesterdays weigh off. Couldn't have done it without my friends shazzy and George. Also all the growers that are so supportive that showed up at seigels weigh off. Gene that seed is amazing. Thank you for your generosity with that 2145. It makes dreams come true. The trophys that henry provided are great and such a nice addition to that amazing day.

Awesome day! Too bad you could not come out and see some of your big babies. Thanks for all the 2145 seeds. It might go down as one of the best seeds ever
