Most of our vines are terminated but 10 vines on each plant and those are after the main pumpkin. We have all our pumpkins with circumference numbers of 50" or more. We have two or three pumpkins going on the mains of all four pumpkins. Should we commit and cull down to one now? Do you ever save one pumpkin just incase the main pumpkin goes down or just go for it?

We try to have all our plants culled down to "the one" by now as time is quickly running out. Our patchs are nearly fully grown with all the vines buried and terminated except a few at the tip of the plants.

Pap says "choose early & well". Otherwise the plumbing gets confused.

Good way to phrase it Tremor...
It sucks to have to cull down to one fruit, but if you're growing for size you don't have a choice.
