Hi Fred,
So that I understand... If I bid from the USA @ $100 (in USD) and I am out bid by someone in Canada at $105 (in CAD) the winner would be the $105 bid even though my $100 USD bid would be considerable higher at $127 Canadian based on today's exchange rate?

You would get ~$22 CAD more with the USD bid but my bid would loose.

Even bigger gap for EURO bids. For the club, it would seem advantageous to have all bids in the the same currency (i.e. Canadian Dollars) and have it converted from other currencies via PayPay when/if needed.

Is my above understanding correct? I am just looking for confirmation based on the above rules since bidding is usually in a set currency. Thanks you.
