Just wondered if someone could give me some tips on growing. I am entering a pumpkin growoff this weekend and the thing is we get 2 seeds (Speical Dill's Atlantic Giant). Is there any short cuts or secrets anyone would like to expell on me...Needless to say gardening has never been my forte but stummbled on this site and knew there would be some experts to assist!!
Thanks in advance..

Just thought of one book. How To Grow Giant Pumpkins III. Try and find that book and it will help alot.

Being in canada you can look us up at GVGO.ca, we have many good tips also and you might be close to a grower in our club right now.

What Province are you in KT? Kirk has a good point that you might be close to another grower.

If you can afford to give it 400 sq ft in full sun, you should do okay. Good Luck...
