OK, so the NSB weigh off isn't happening this year, dry your eyes, kids. It's a little late to help Glenn out or to organize another weigh-off, and the Nanaimo weigh-off is pretty far, and it's pretty last minute, so I'm not going to be able to make it there, either.

In lieu of an actual weigh-off, let's have a virtual weigh off, and post your results here. Post your OTT measurements, weight, date of weighing and method of weighing here, and we'll tally up the results in a couple of weeks. If you can e-mail me a photo, please do that as well (jcnhooper@shaw.ca) , and I'll put them up in my diary. If some of you make it to a weigh-off, that's great, your results will still be valid here, just follow the instructions above. The game, boys, is still on....

Any BC growers are welcome to post results, and the championship committee (me) will decide if they qualify. I'll figure out some kind of prize system in the next few days. Deadline for entries is going to be October 28th.

James, we still have a few fruit to weigh and will be having some kind of beer drinking fest whilst loading and weighing pumpkins on Greg's scale. I'm sure you can fit your pumpkin in the back of your Jeep and make the trip to the North Shore.

I just did not have the time this year to plan a full-pull weigh-off but we can still do the North Shore Boyz thang!!

Somebody has to bring something to put Steve's brother Larry in his place.....he has a nice one on the 1005 Mombert and so does my Uncle Chris.

Was a "Vancouver" type of thing Tony.....you valley boyz don't really qualify as being in the big city....maybe next year!!
