Well, the weather that last 10 days has been great. I put an inch of water on the patch, thursday night and then we got the tail end of hurricane Emily. We got a half an inch so far. Things look great and pumpkins are growing hard. I just wish we hadn't had all that heat in early July. I know it really cost me.

Agree, Weather has been awsome!! I now have 4 fruits set on your 721.5 Vincent and all seem to be doing allright.
Fathers close to the 100 lb mark on one of his fruits on the 839 Hunt plant. Tomouro could be "IFF" as weather is going to turn, Calling for a high of 36 ( 98.5 F) Humidex 46 makeing it feel like 116 outside, Then the worst part is going to come by mid afternoon when the cold front passes through bringing temperatures down to the 15 c (59F) mark which could bring in some nasty weather with it.
Been watching the Radar Maps on www.theweathernetwork.com
and theres ALLOT of RED, but its mellowing down to a yellowish blue by the time it hits my area. so ya hopefully we dont get any damaging weather as things are finally growing well for me now

The last two nights have been cool up here. Last night it was 11 C and the night before 10 C. I checked out the long range forcast and it looks like the temps are going to drop by the end of the week.

Ya the nights are on a cooler side arnt they, here they went down to 15 friday night and 14 saturday night. I guess it doesnt hurt much as the day time highs are still in the 27-30 + range. Dont fruits grow better with warmer days and cooler nights?
