Real growing days ahaed.
I miss a number of European (f.i.Germany,Austria)growers on the diaries who last year were regularly posting.
What happened with them?

Hello Theo. If all goes well I will be pollinating this weekend, next weekend for sure.

I am not sure what happened to all of the other growers that used to post, but I am sure they are out there, looking at this website, judging the competition, and hoping they have another good year.

regards,
owen

PS: I received your email concerning the patch tour on 12 August. I will be posting again soon asking for all that will attended to confirm that they are coming. I do not think there will be as many coming as originally said they would. That is normal though, it was winter time, we were bored and now it is summer, they have their own patches to attend to, and, and, and.....

Hello Theo and Owen

Things are doing ok here. Some problems with wind and vines cracking alongside, normal stuff though. I hope I will be able to update some pictures. Pollinated two fems today, both about 2,5 meters out -> 897x1173 and reverse. Some more promising ones show up and will be ready come weekend. The weather was good in the last weeks, though very dry. No weeds to control, great!

I hope things are going great in Ameland and Knopp too.

Owen, I will be there. You have my word. I even cancelled an Open Air Festival, where the needed a good DJ on Aug 12th.. But I had the choice and I really prefer the tour a lot over working on weekend days lol. Looking forward.

Hi Lars

It would be great to meet you at the tour. A friend of mine is growing your 809 here, that you sent me. The plant started out with one cot only, but is meanwhile looking good.

Thanks for all intersting postings, great news.

The pumpkinseed from Jos Ghaye is growing well here as you might have seen, but the pumpkin(s) are not really growing yet, we got 4 colder days, yesterday change to sunny, tomorrow hot again, hoping to show big growing fruit soon.

Thanks Owen, before 12 august I will reconfirm again and check how to drive, I have a car now (and a trailer, to go to Ludwigsburg/Duisburg LOL). Looking forward to visit your place!

Heino, Sergio, Lars, Owen, all, grow them big!
Regards, Theo.

Ok Sergio, I hope you are at home next week. We will come and see if your pumpkins are really that big and do match the Italian soccer qualities, lol. Kind of a spy mission. See you then! By the way, I am not joking. I have a new cell number, so you have mail. Heino
