Hi everyone,

I remember a thread started by Sophie last year in early Feb. asking the growers what they intend to plant. At that time I had no clue, what all these numbers and names are all about. Well I think time has come to ask that question again. Here's my choice. Four plants this year. Almost no lawn left at my mothers house. All patch now, lol!!!

- 1173 Macari 04
- 1233 Reiss 05
- 897 Davies 04
- 848* McKenzie

backups:

- 628 Olsen
- 199 Ornskov
- 518 Helbock
- 369 Helbock

I`m more than happy with this line up, even excited. A big thank you to those who made it possible. My special thanks go out to Owen Olsen and Fred Macari for their generosity and of course to my mother - lol!

Wishing everyone of you a new pb,

Heino

Heino, this year I am having a lot of problems deciding. I can grow 4 pumpkins and 2 squash this year. Here is my pumpkin short list:

670 Daigle
503 Beauchimen
1097.5 Beachy
723 Bobier
845 Bobier
664 Liggett
1225.4 Jutras
1420.5 LaRue
898 Knauss? (still looking)

On the outside looking in:

983 Pukos 05
1190 Wentzell 05
905.2 Toftness 05
1233.5 Reiss 05
854.8 Jutras 05
500 Beuachimen (if I can't find the 898 knauss)

Squash short list:

848 MacKenzie *
748 Koch *
895.5 Hester *
792.9 Olsen *

Outside looking in:

1063.5 Mackenzie *
1003 MacKenzie *
834 Gadberry *
471 Beachy *

How am I ever going to narrow down all those great seeds to just 4 pumpkins and 2 squash.......I also need to thank all of the generous growers that I trade seeds with all year, and the wonderful jobs that organizations did with the auctions this year, fantastic.

From me also a wish that all have a new PB, and lots of green.

Dito WOW! A lot of growers will envy you for your choice problems Owen, lol. That is really amazing. That 723 alone is what it was called in one of the latest auctions "the holy grail of seeds". An 898 would perfectly fit in there.

And look at those greenies - WOW again. I think time is already here to request Owen`s 06 seeds. You never know, lol.

@HW: 1314 Beauchemin seems to be a hot one in that respect too. Could come close to 898. What about that 1469? Saving it, could be wise decision for sure.

@Ingo: I assume, he will. Let`s just not put him to much under pressure - lol!

Heino, 2 unproven seeds in a row is enough, so may be I give the 500 a shot, but time will tell. The 1469 probably will become a place on the wall, to impress visitors. lol
