i just got back my soil test results from, A&L great lakes lab. And it says my ph. for the soil is 7.3. Now i know that its not to high! but, would a giant pumpkin still be able to grow in soil conditions like that.
if not (WHY). thank you!

Yes you can grow well with 7.3, my pH is 7.8 and a grew a 906 lb-er this year. The largest in the area.

you can bring your pH down by adding elemental sulfer. But I'm not sure what the application rate would be in your case.
