I have a cover crop of mostly buck wheat and some clover on next years patch. what do I do with it now? let it sit and do nothing til spring or chop it and till it in now?

The buckwheat should be chopped shortly after it flowers or it goes to seed and it will be like a weed next year the frost will kill it anyway and if you have clover I wouldn't till it until spring
