I got a soil test done out of curiosity. Last year I tilled I'm about 6-8 yards of well composted horse manure and 4 yards of sand/mixed with dirt a local landscaper dumped off. This year I was planning on tilling in about 6 yards of composted cow manure. The dairy down the street sells "sterilized" manure from a digester they have a deal with the power company

 Patch is about 70 x 70

            | Christopher24 | aurora, IL | You will need to add more organic matter for that size of patch to raise the OM%. Follow what Western Labs recommends, but if you are confused how to do so just contact them. | 3/10/2017 1:43:26 PM |

            | baitman | Central Illinois | Have your test with you and call the lab, if you tell them what you have, manure, leaf compost etc they will tell you what to do | 3/11/2017 9:48:44 AM |
