Maybe this is repetitious , but ive looked through alot of this forum, for a good answer.

I have two plots and thought of testing them, one time each using western laboratories.

when would you get the test spring or fall? Ive read that gympsum needs time to work and manure needs time(i can get well composted)

Do I put manure first,or wait to see the organic matter % I am also alittle worried about waiting for a spring test because this year I could barely till because of all of the rain

I plan on using 2 small hoop houses and cables next year to help control the moisture and tempature,I would like to get an early start ,several contest close to me start early, one is Sept 10th and another about Sept 24

If it would be better I could test one plot twice, and wait a year to test the other one(money)

any advise would be appreciated

I'd recommend fall-Gives you a baseline for amendments. Some of which are better if applied now.

Thanks for the info, I called western labs( 1-800-658-3858) and if you prepay the cost $42.75 saved saves you $4.50 per test.
