My results came in today and my calcium was 5916. The test says that the optimal area to be is 4000-5600, what if anything should I do?

If you use city water or well water you should have them tested(may be the reason ca+ is high).As far as amending your soil you have to add non calcium amendments to change the ratio of calcium to your other minor nutrients.Most important is calcium:magnesium ratio.If you added a lot of nitrogen and low calcium water you may be able to lower(leach out) the ppm calcium but youll cause worse problem with the nitrogen.A lot of growers have your problem with heavy calcium carbonate soils in the great lakes region

The thing to watch is your base saturation calcium. If it is above 75% you may want to consider applying some sulfur to healp soluableize and leach some calcium. I have seen very high PPM Ca with less than 75% Base saturation. If in the 65-75%% range, there is likely no issue.

Optimum Base saturations 4-7% K (Potassium), 13-18% Mg (Magnesium), Ca (Calcium) 68-72%
