Has anyone used dried molasses as an amendment to your soil?

Yes, each time I add my organics ferts and into the compost pile. Keeps the microbes happy and active while they do what good microbes do...process nutrients for easier up-take. Get some, and use it.

I figure I was putting it on in a liquid matter so why not the dried stuff. I can buy 50lb bags at the farm store so I think I will give it a try.

Ease of application, one can scatter and sprinkle, and likewise into backfill soil for a 'slower release' in the days ahead. An excellent item to scatter over one's lawn in those 'weak' areas where things are thinner, off-color and just not as prime as the other no-problem areas of the lawn.
