I know Sea Weed adds alot of benefits to the soil, though has anyone ever tried adding the average Lake Weed/Plant to their dirt?
If so, was there any similar benfits to adding sea weed?

Also, getting access to these lake plants would be simple. Seeing many popular swimming areas have plant cutters come through every spring.

I asked that once and they said they did'nt think there was as many nutrients as ocean sea weed. I had a job one summer removing lake weeds, we used to scoop up when we cut the weeds bullheads, other small fish, turtles.
