I think muriate(sp?)of potash is bad for some reason. I hear most growers use sulfate of potash.

We sell MOP aka potassium chloride as a deicing compound. Used properly it is a faster potassium rescue than the slower acting SOP. Try hard to never need such a rescue.

The PHOSPHATE thing threw me.

I've got some muriate of potash I'd like to use up (then never use again). Would adding gypsum help with the salt content of the MOP? I'll be adding gypsum anyways so if it'll help it would be a bonus.
