I'm looking to have soil sent out tommorrow or Thursday for testing. By the time I have the testing back and soil ammended will I have time to put in a cover crop of winter rye?
This is my first year doing a soil test, so i don't know what to expect as far as a time frame goes.

You should be able too...and you could at least try...I have yet to use a cover crop. I just cover my patch with maple leaves then till in spring and re-test.
