hey you

Greencastle, PA

I've seen this stuff being sold in a few stores and am curious about how fast some of these products work. Has anybody here tried it?
Thanks,
Tom

good stuff for getting rid of bodies, about 30 days covered in this stuff and nothings left.

haha... I'll have to remember that.

But how quickly will it effect pH? I'm going to pick up some manure for the patch when I'm at home for Easter, but it's not as old as I would like it to be. My plan was to mix in a little lime so that it won't drop my pH too low. It was about 7.5 in the fall, and I've added a lot of organic matter since then, which tends to decrease the pH. Before adding the manure I will do another pH test to see if I really need the lime.
Thanks
Tom

chance are you won't need the lime but I would not recomend the quick lime as it will kill off benificial organizims. regulare lime will do fine

calcitic. the powder works quicker but messy and hard to spread. I'll only use pelletized stuff now
