I found this website that explains what everything on a soil test means and how they relate to each other. I thought it would be informative to anyone who (like myself) really doesn't know what it all means. Very informative reading. Also if you go back to the homepage there is good information on Solu-cal and how it compares to lime and gypsum. Good stuff!!!

you can take the best seed in the world. plant it in a non productive soil and get poor results
you could also take an unproven seed, plant it in a well balance productive soil and get maximum results

the soil is the real deal. you can be lacking in a lot of areas but if your soil is poor so will be your results
