What is "sugar soil"?

A local garden and landscaper supplier here called "Live Oak Gardens" puts it together. Its a mix of soil washed off of the sugar cane and bag ash from the sugar mill. This is mixed with lots of fresh shrimp shells and composted for at least a year. It has a high ph of 8-9 so it must be mixed or adjusted.

I added 4 yards of composted horse manure and 4 yards of "sugar soil" to my 3000sq ft patch.

Your pH says "optimum" at 5.7 which I find very low. If you hadn't just added all those amendments I'd recommend lime. Now that it's at 6.8 I'd leave it alone. The rest looks good. Grow well!
