My growing area is about 2,600 Sq ft. Here's the results...
PH 6.0
P 108
K 626
Ca 2737
Mg 378
O.M. 5.5

I can't find N on here but they recommend 2lbs per 1,000 Sq ft.

What do I need to do to get this up to snuff? I probably won't bother tweaking O.M. until the fall. Thanks in advance!

Lots of grass seed...maybe a fescue or a bentleaf. :) You could use some lime to bump that PH up to 7.0..

Need to raise your OM by (I'd say) 10 points or more too. AleX Noel.

I recommend at least 10 yards of compost spread over the entire patch. 20 yards would be better. O.M is way too low. This test is fairly incomplete but the Ca to K ratio also looks like a problem. What would help bring this into better balance and improve the PH as well is a good liming....

I think your OM is OK, its not ideal, but a native soil is typically only 3-5%, and I have grown many 800-1097 in less than 4% OM. I think your Phosphorus is a few hundred PPM low compared to your Potassium.

Pellet lime will raise your pH fast. I dont know the rate tho? 12 lbs may get you close. It depends on particle size of your soil. For me 250 lbs/acre raised it 1.0. Dolomitic lime will raise pH and Magnesium levels. Someone else can give you a rate on that.

If my mental math is good, you should add around 25 lbs of P2O5 to raise your Phosphorus 200 ppm. This is a very high increase, and I dont know if you can raise it that much at one time tho.

Doug,

Are these values in PPM or Pounds per Acre?
