Just what I learned is that Fe / Mn is best at 2:1 to keep from restricting Fe uptake. Also, a ratio of at least 20:1 on P to Zn. These ratios taken from a discussion with my local IAS Labs owner who consults for many cucurbit growers here in AZ and CA.

seem to remember a ca/mg ratio of 6 to 1 or even higher...but the ph is already optimal so lime is out of the question..maybe a dose of gypsum is in order..but I'm just guessing..maybe wait till one of the big guys steps in on this one.

thanks tremor, lol I was typing spanish when I typed that, all i could see was letters and numbers,Only thing I know about is the Ph,Im glad thats at a good level,
Alex, Tremor also said what you said to add some gypsum. I have about 6 bags of it.
Hotpumpkin, thank you aswell!
Also what is my salt reading, which letters is salt?
This is my new patch area that i just tilled a few months ago, there has never been anything grown here before. A guy did have alot of pigs in this exact area about 10 years ago though. When it rains this area gets really muddy and hold water.

Its probably to close to growing time to add fresh cow manure to the patch right? I have huge of compost that i havnt added yet also, Its about 80% broke down, I plan on putting this on after I turn the piles two more times and after I spray the pile with fish/seaweed and molasses for a last time cooking.

Brooks, At first sight pH is right on. Need to raise the CEC and Organic matter x2 by applying compost and/or peat moss at this stage in the game. Ca could go up a ways for AGs, K is up. Therefore I'd use about 50# gypsum per 1000sq' ft. to leach K and raise Ca. My 2 cents. Don
