Hi, I am a reader since last year and a first time poster today. Second year growing a giant pumpkin and last year's rotted out in the late August heat. Most of the seeds were no good, although I have three in peat pots now that have sprouted their roots, but just not sure if they are going to make it.
If they don't, does anybody in my area have an extra seedling? I grow in a 300 sq ft community garden and do not use heating cables and green houses so I have some time before transplanting outside, but want to make sure I have a plant ready to go just in case. Thank you!

Hey boston best of luck to you this year! If you don't have a heat mat for your seedlings they can take a while to pop. Since they have roots your are on the right track. Keep them in the sun or preferably under a light. Post pictures in a diary and we can help you out along the way!
