I found some giant tomatoe seeds and I was just wondering a couple basic things. When should I start them if I want to get the tomatoe fully grown around February or March? What nutrients do they need more of than others? Do I only keep one tomatoe for every plant? How big pot do I need for the tomatoe plant to grow in? Thanks

The bp winter competition will open about Oct 15th. This is a for fun competition. Ripening times indoors depends very much on the amount of light you have available and the temp of your grow area. Last year I started a seed on Jan 1st and had a ripe tomato by the first day of spring in march. Others started back in October and were still green on march.
Check out the tomato board in about a month. There should be a lot of advice as to how to grow tomatoes during the winter months.
