Can you have too many sets on one plant? Have 9 right now, looking for the right 1...
Am I retarding all of them but having too many going at once?

Plant is BIG. All sets are within last week. Kinda figuring to set hella & let the plant decide/show me which one will grow best, but wondering if I'm overdoing it...

Depends on what you are going for...If I just want a big pumpkin but don't care about the weight, I'll set a many pumpkins on the plant. But if I am trying to set the state record I'm only setting a couple and around day 12-15...basketball or a bit bigger i'm making my decision and i'm cutting the rest off.

They'll prob. starve off some naturally as they start to gain weight.Im guessing the plant will support three to 5. Depends on square footage, how well waterered, heat stress. Main vine fruit will get the biggest.More than one fruit will hurt biggest weights some.
