I have a small three foot section of my vine that has had the leaves crack and fall over. Some are dead and gone a few others are laying on the ground but are still green. Should I prop them up to keep the rot out? There are 5 leaves laying down that are still quite green.

why are they falling over? no roots? twisting vine? every leaf should have a root at it. bury the base of the leaf and make sure the root sets. it will secure the vine and add valuable root structure to the plant. just propping em up for looks doesn't help. All leaves should be standing straight up in a cup position. that's the sign of a healthy plant. GrowEmBig! chuck

I use bamboo plus velcro tape to prop up falling leaves. Also found that if I bury entire vine I get very few falling over with gusts of wind or high temps. Good luck

I grow in heavy shade after 2pm. My leaves in response get very tall and are more susceptible to collapsing. A bamboo stake and zip tie works perfect to keep them up the rest of the year after falling. If still green don't cut them.

I found the leaves that fell over for me, where the ones that showed over N fertilization. They grew excessively large and the stems grew really high. Eventually they would collapse to one side, though stay alive.

I don't know if that is your situation, but it might be a contributing factor?
