Hi all been a while since I posted (i guess) it was raining the past week but not the temps are in the 35 celsius range wondering how much water should I be giving the plants? I heard that the more heat during the day the more growth during the night but I want to make sure theres enough water for maximum growth, thanks

My garden is out in the open with little wind break since there are 100's of community plots. I water by timing usually every day unless it for sure rains. I think consistency has helped me especially with my other crops in my other plots, so this has been good for the pumpkin so far. I know my son's, Queen Big BUTT, Rocky is lov'n it!! LOL

it depends on your soil and drainage. An inch a week is a general starting place.

your soil should be damp not wet a few inches down and should be watered at an even interval, not dry then wet cycles.
