Fungal spores, insect eggs, ect: Plus, my pig petunia would be real upset if she didn't get the left over pumpkins all winter!!

I think many do compost the pumpkins, just not the plant, but then I have heard of some that do that to.

I feed my kins to the pigs and chickens. the vines all get piled up and burned. Problem is you have to have good fire for them to burn. I trimmed trees a month ago and then put vines on top of trimmings. All my daily and weekly pruning I do gets thrown in the grass next to the patch and run over with the mower.
