I have two plants growing very good. I have a female on both of them at eight feet and th e blooms have not opened yet. Also I just have a couple of males. From what I've seen and read I want the m to be out further. I might be just getting anxious. What to should I do at this point?

I would suggest pollinating everything especially with only 2 plants. If you get a female at a place that you think is a better location the first pollination can be culled. Just consider the first one practice then.

I would poll. further out say 10-15 ft out. This way you would have a bigger plant behind pumpkin,,,, which will produce a bigger pumpkin.
Just cut off the one at 8ft mark,,, you will get more.

Pollinate everything you never know what will happen later on. Its good to have something to fall back on if you have problems getting later Pumpkins to set. You can always Cull later when you have one set in a better location.
