I self pollinated a 972 Holland last year (2011)& am growing my seed this year from it just wanted to know if any one has grown a 972 Holland its almost turning orange however leaves are all gone from frost its still getting stretch cracks with clear firm sap pollinated June 26 just cant believe its still growing or seams to be 260 ott end of August best i can tell 280 ott now. Will appreciate any input thanks

I tried growing one last year but it was my second plant and I didn't take very good care of it. Al the Pumpkins on it aborted.

that sucks i am not a stranger to aborts this is the first year out of three i had no problems with them only thing i did different was not adding manure to the garden.thanks for reply
