I have fruit set and am at the point that I am thinking the back up females should be removed in order to focus the nutrients to one fruit a plant. These are the unpolinated ones throughout the plant. I am at day 14 on two and day 11 on the other two plants.

a suggestion for next season. only pollinate pumpkins on the main vine .pinch off all others when they are fingernail or smaller size.no need to let others open pollinate.
if the pumpkins you like are day 14 and also day 11 ?and are still shiny and healthy looking? they should make it.
time to grow the pumpkins.
