How many do I cut and when do I cut them.

As the pumpkin grows you can cut the ones that start to get in the way. I leave them alone up until the time when I have to cut them. Especially the ones that are before the pumpkin.

yep only cut those that apply once you have choosen your fruit.you can always pin them out of the way for a week or so until you pick the main vine pumpkin you like.

as always .. very good advice from,, great growers... ,, i try to position the 2ndaries out of the as best i can,, when i pick the fruit,i want ,, but its not always the case,, some have to be sacrificed.. just my thoughts
