When growing under cover is there a desirable humidty range, high/low, 70, 80% etc etc?
My pumpkin house has been up a while and is therefore now dry as a bone, except for where I have been watering around the plant.

Not sure if this is the answer you are looking for, but when it gets too humid in the hoop house I just open the top to air it out for a bit. Don't want it that humid in there.

I don't grow in a greenhouse, but I think high humidity will reduce transpiration as well --but I don't know how high before that occurs.
During the Vegas Seminar the greenhouse growers presentation discussed this if I'm remembering correctly.
Here is the youtube videos of the presentation so you can hear it instead of me paraphrasing it from memory -- I can't watch youtube over here.

Some of the southern growers might be able to comment on this as they deal a lot more with high humidity.
