I hear alot about maple syrup, has anyone ever tried honey. It's all natural sugar. Seams like it should do the same thing, get microbs going. Just wondering.

Honey has many ANTI- microbial properties, i dont know how it works diluted, but i think mollases would be a better alternitive.

microbes don't care much where the simple sugars come from. You can put expensive maple syrup and honey on your patch, but I'll stick with feed grade mollasses. saves money for other ammendments.
