I have an AG that is on day 16 and I fear that it may be growing to quickly. On Jul 19th it measured 20.5 in and on Jul 24th it was +15.5 at 36 inches. I am new to this, but this seems to me that this will probably cause it to split. Will the growth start to slow or am I in trouble?

As long as it is consistent growth you should not have a problem.

I have had up to 6 iches a night which isn't that uncommon. One of those guys from Illinois had 10 inches in 24 hours.

You all have given me great news...I just measured it again and it is +6 at 42 inches so the growth seems consistent. Thanks for the help and good luck.

Bullock, Go to search system and look for growth charts...GPC has some great #'s to look at. Curious if yer measurements are circ. or OTT?
I also agree w/ Luke's encouraging statement, and do NOT think you are outgrowin the potential of yer pkn...and sorta think bill said....LET ER EAT!!! & yes, it might split, the growth might slow down, or it might grow a MONSTER!!! Hope this helps!!! Peace, Wayne

Peace Wayne, my measurements are of circ. of the pumpkin. Thanks for the info on the growth charts. I downloaded them to my computer.

Here are the links to the ones I found from previous post if anyone needs or wants them.
