Not sure what the leaf damage is and I can't find the culprit. No slug trails although half a dozen were removed from under the carpet mulch that was around the stump in the early days. Damage is not new. Please see the link below photo. Not the best photo, sorry.
Thanks

It could have been cuke beetles when the leaf was very small. I have the same thing on some of my leaves and I have been battling with cuke beetles for 3 weeks.

leafs grown in protected hoop are thin and never have wind to strenthen them. then exposed later to wind=buckled edges and or collapse even in seemingly not violent wind

my 2 cents here also......nice looking plant...and i would be willing to bet that the roots from the stump are out 3 to 6 feet.........these things are crazy......when watering one needs to water 6 feet out with a plant that size from the stump to give then new roots a drink..grow em BIG!

Chris S.: Thanks for the suggestion. I dont think it is angular leaf spot due to the absence of the brown colouring but I could be wrong. One more plant problem to add to the memory bank. Tt seems that there are so many!
Don young: I have had some of the larger leaves buckle and the larger leaves (also the oldest) have the damage.
Lets just hope there doesnt become a need to pin point the problem later.
Thanks for all your suggestions. Appreciated!

Chris, I think you might be right after all. Have seen some leaves with light brown areas along the veins.
