My 14 dayer was averaging about 5 inches in CC a day and now on days 13 and 14 it is at 2-3 inches in CC. The last couple days we have been at 95 to 99 with indexes of 105+.

Is this normal for slower growth when this hot? I thought the cold slowed the growth. My seed is store bought so it might just be genetics...

5 inches in CC a day sounds really good for a store bought seed. Last year when I was growing a store bought seed (in the 100+ heat) 2-3 inches would have been a good day. I am growing from a good seed this year and I'm getting 4 inches in CC a day in the 100 degree weather.

Mine is a Dills from Lowes, but I have no idea about the parents except that they are looooong and not tall. My CC was 54 this morning (day 14), but I have no height.

How big did your store bought one turn out in pounds?

Extremes on both end of the temperature spectrum are not good, cold or hot.

Last year my two plants resulted in a 93 pounder (which split open on the blossom end) and a 94 pounder. But at 54" CC on day 14 you are ahead of where I was on those two and you're ahead of me this year on my 1004 Mohr plant at 39.25" on Day 14.

Yeah, but mine is already turning dull and yellow/orange. It's about 42 pounds right now. Sorry for the questions, but did your store bought mature quickly too. I have it shaded all the time so not sure why maturing so fast.

I guess it did mature quickly. It started turning a little orange around 53in CC and then almost fully orange by 65in CC. At 94 pounds it just stopped growing altogether.
