I have had several male flowers come and go, but the females are still about the size of a soy bean and has been that size for about 2 wks now and no flowers. My plants are growing about foot or so a day and they are huge. Just wondering if they bloom late or if i'm right on schedule.

Ryan, very weird...pea size females that haven't grown in two weeks...IMHO...should be pinched off!!! If main vine is growing a foot a day, it sounds healthy!!! How's the weather been? How big is the plant overall? Pic's help!!! Patience is a virtue!!! Sorta disjointed, but hope it helps!!! Peace, Wayne

hopefully you are not applying fertalizers during pollination period? that would cause problems with new fruit, aborts, etc.

Nope, we've have nothing but rain just about non-stop here in Indiana. But my pumpkin is growing rather slowly. We've been flooded out a couple days, and this morning we got 4-5 inches of rain in an hr or so time. This is most likely my main problem. I heard that pumpkins like alot of water, well their getting it!
