Hello,
I live outside of Charlotte, NC and planted pumpkin seeds the first week of April. I harvested them from a fruit last Halloween. The plants have done well and have been blooming for the last two weeks. Unfortunately, none have produced any sign of a fruit. I have other garden plants nearby like squash, tomato, and bell pepper that have produced vegetables. I have even seen bumblebees flying around servings blooms. What gives? Thanks.

In my limited experience my plants usually start producing males a bit before females start, it's not time to worry yet I think you'll start seeing some soon, I don't pollinate until the end of June or first week in July and that is plenty of time to grow a good one.

The female flowers look like a little pumpkin with a blossom on top do you see any of those? Otherwise they are all males yet.

You can use a fertilizer like Bloom Booster or Monster Bloom with low to no nitrogen such as 0-50-30 and it will cause the plant to transition into fruit production.

Thanks everyone. I think all the blooms are male. Should it be automatic for female blooms to materialize?
