sounds like this stuff is dangerous. I just ordered some from extreme pumpkin web site. I also ordered some daconil.
How do I use these two products?
I plan to dust the captan on my cuts from pruning. Do I put it on dry or do I make a paste? Do I let the cut dry first or do I put it on right away?
The daconol I plan to spray on the leaves? Is it supposed to turn my whole plant white?

Captan isn't labeled for the way we apply it but you are correct. It is usually dusted on dry, straight up.
Daconil is sprayed onto both sides, especially the bottoms for powdery mildew.

Oh, Captan does have a DANGER label which ranks it among the most toxic fungicides that growers use.
