Hello all,

I am a new grower starting giants for the first time this year. I wold love to know if there is anyone else in the great Pacific Northwest, and especially the Columbia River Gorge, that is growing "The Big One". I just started some seeds yesterday in my indoor grow box so the adventure has begun...

Hey D Rock! Fellow Oregonian here, though I'm a bit south of you. There are many great growers in your area that would love to assist you grow a monster! Have you joined the PGVG or PNWGPG? Our Spring Meeting is just around the corner and would be an invaluable opportunity for you to meet local growers and learn how we do things.

Thanks for the responses!! I have not joined tose groups Starr, I will look into them today though.

Good News!! I started 12 seeds last wed and they all popped and are very strong looking plants. I dont have a lot of room in the ground so I wwill select my best two or three looking plans and transplant to a larger pot to continue growing in my box until its time to transplant to the gound. I was giggling like a school girl when I came back from a weekend trip to portland to see all twelve had greens already.
