Hello everyone! I am new to this site, but have been growing pumpkins for about a year or two. Next year I am planning on growing big pumpkins and some other unique (color, shape, appearance) pumpkins. One question I had is where can I get good seeds from? I know they sell large pumpkin seeds in retail stores but are they good? Where can I find some unique pumpkins? any help would be great thanks!

You have come to the right place if you want to grow big pumpkins. There is a seed exchange board on here that you can request seeds from growers and later in the year after the weighoffs are over and the seeds harvested and dried there will be hundreds to choose from. The only thing most growers request from the sender is a self addressed stamped bubble envelope so they can just drop the seeds in and put them in the mailbox. I get 8x10 envlelopes and 6x9 bubbles, put 4 stamps on the bubble with my address label put it in the larger envelope and send it on its way. Another good thing to do is join a local growers club. I see your in PA and there are plenty of good growers up there, most clubs have a seed distrubution with there newsletters so you would get several seeds that way along with the help of experienced growers if you ran into trouble. I have plenty of good seeds that need to see some dirt if youre interested. Just shoot me an email at maxboostbusa@yahoo.com and I'll get you my address. Good luck.

I have just completed my first year of growing giant pumpkins. I got two. Not giant but feel i did okay for my first year. We are having a weigh off this saturday here in Riverton, Wyoming. Am going to see all the others, but probably won't bother to take mine. I would like to request some seeds for next year. Thanks

I tried to plant a big pumpkin this year, but didn't get a giant one. Next year I would like to grow a giant one. What is the best type to grow and where can I get the seeds.

Thanks
