I have read that many top growers heat their water in tanks and am wondering if that is needed through out the season or if that is just mainly for the start of the season when soil temps are cooler? I am watering (from the tap) in the afternoon about every 3rd day and it seems, to me that the days that I water the pumpkin growth slows down, don't know if that's my imagination or not.
