I was looking through some past pics and so forth and I am trying to figure out what DMG stands for on "disqualified pumpkins." All i can figure is it is a latin abbreviation for "the judge didn't allow an official weight because of the split or rotten spot/pin hole on the pumpkin."
the only real explanation i can think of is "Didn't Make Grade". Any other terminology that anyone can pass along to a new grower?? also, apparently everyone is experienced growers now since there are relatively no posts or replies in the "new growers forum."

DMG = Damaged (official certified scale) EXH = ExHibition (take your pick why) UOW = UnOfficial Weight (not a certified scale)
