I have seven pumpkins on,and 5 of them are slowing to a crawl and seemingly going orange way early, like after day 25 or so.Isn't there something wrong with this?Anyone else have this problem? Thanks

Mine did the exact same thing at about day 30 but Im a newbie so I just assumed it was something I did wrong. I only have one growing pumpkin left out of 4. Id also be interested in hearing experienced opinions on it.

Not untypical for the more orange pumpkins to start showing color early. As long as your pumpkins are healthy you are probably just fine. My 1350 Starr pumpkin started showing signs of orange around day 12 around on the blossom end. It was probably the 1370 Rose coming through its genetics because it was a pumpkin that tended to throw a nice orange color.
You may want to consider to start culling some of those pumpkins if you are planning on growing a big one. Unless your plant is very large the reason those pumpkins are slowing down is because you have to many pumpkins on the vine.
