First time grower here and mine are turning yellow as they get to 9 inches across, is this normal or am I going to lose them? Thought I finally got a few to set and now they are turning yellow on me. I have the Atlantic Giants. Been hand pollinating in the mornings past few weeks.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Almost all start as yellow, grow as yellow and will only turn orange at the end of thier growing, if at all. Many stay yellow forever.
However, if they are turning white, its most likely the fruit has aborted.

If they still have a shine to them they are good. If you seem them get a white tint and lose the shine she is aborting.

Jann, look at the diaries. You will see such a variety of color, shape, length, etc. Good luck! Sherry
