I downloaded an excel spreadsheet for sizing ag pumpkins some time ago and cannot find the sight i got it form . It lists 4 measurements, s-s, f-b, circum, and ott. i assume they mean side to side, front to back, over the top and circumference. My how to grow giant pumpkins book only lists three of these measurements, it does not use front to back. Below is a link to a picture of the execl chart. How do I take all four measurements that are on this chart?

http://www.bigpumpkins.com/ViewArticle.asp?id=37&gid=4 this will help, there are three measurements you take when est. a pumpkin side to side, front to back and the Circumference, you then add them all together and that gives you a ott, ill post a ott chart for you later.

Side to side and front to back are both types of 'over the top' methods which go from ground to ground.

I use the same spreadsheet myself, and you only need the first 3 measurements. The SS will figure the OTT for you.
