I pollinated my first bloom this morning. I must admit I felt a little naughty lol but I was grinning from ear to ear. Ive read posts about 4, 5 and 6 lobe blooms. I assume thats the lil things inside a female bloom. Whats the difference between 4-5? Also one of mine was 3 lobed. Is that bad? I'll probably have to cull it as its kinda close but since it was ready at the same time as the others I pollinated it anyway.

the only difference between lobe counts is the amount of seed pockets the fruit will have.each lobe represents a future seed cavity inside the finished product. five segment (lobe )fruit does not mean more seeds or a bigger fruit ,etc. as a new grower you dont really care if its 3-4-5-6 just concentrate on growing the fruit and keeping the plant healthy enough to survive the summer.
